Fear of a Flat Planet explores the intersection of fine art and digital media, inspired by the rebellious energy of snowboarding culture. Using hand-painted washes, archival imagery sourced from 1980s and 1990s snowboard magazines, alongside digital compositing techniques.
The project blends analog texture with contemporary image-making. The final graphic pays homage to the sport's countercultural roots while pushing its visual language into a new context.
Inspired by my love for the sport of snowboarding.
